Stage 1 Scientists

Stage 1 students are all participating in the 'Super Potatoes' program. Today they were soil detectives. They collected soil samples from around our playground and looked at them with magnifying glasses, smelt it, rolled it into balls and stretched it into ribbons. They then did pH testing to find the best soil. They buried Farmer Jesse's undies in that soil and hope that the micro organisms will break the cotton undies down. There is a Stage 1 competition to see which pair of Farmer Jesse's undies will break down the most! 2H think they will win!
