SPECTACULAR BY NAME AND SPECTACULAR IT WAS……
Saturday the 3rd of August saw over 100 MPS parents, teachers and friends gather to test their knowledge on all things performing arts. With our wonderful host for the evening Ms Kojic, much comedy, laughter and excitement was created. Everyone was heads down to answer the trivia questions, sound grabs and visual puzzles, with the highlight of the evening being a special performance of “Substitute” by our very own Mr Wells and Mr Jasper. “The Backseat Bandit’s” slunk away with their cassettes and bowling vouchers in last place, with “Try Harder” claiming victory and being very vocal about their winnings and 1st place prizes.
The PASC trivia night raised a total of $4825.40 (insert a huge round of applause here) with all funds raised going towards all performing arts groups to minimise the costs to parents for many of our performance based activities that MPS participate in each year.
A huge thank you goes out to all our sponsors of the evening. With over $5000 of prizes up for grabs, just about everyone went home with a prize. Without the support of our amazing sponsors we could not have had such a wonderful event and many happy prize winners.
