There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

Students from the MPS Aboriginal Dance Group address the staff and visitors of Maitland Hospital as a part of their NAIDOC Week performance.
Maitland Public School celebrated NAIDOC Week in Term 2 and our Aboriginal Dance Group built community connections by performing at Maitland Hospital for staff and visitors. They proudly shared their culture and spirit through dance. The energy, respect and connection at the event reminded us of the power of culture to heal, unite and inspire.
Kindergarten staff and students dressed as if they are one hundred years old to celebrate Kindergarten's 100 days of school experience.
In Term 3, our Kindergarten students celebrated 100 Days of School. They dressed up as if they were '100 years old' and celebrated this milestone by investigating all they could about the number 100!
Students dressed up in a variety of costumes representing book characters as a part of Book Week celebrations.
Book Week is a fun and exciting event for staff and students every year! We love celebrating literature by bringing characters to life with imagination and creativity!
